Luciano Romero passed away on November 23, 2020 at his home in Grants, New Mexico. He was 90 years of age. Mr. Romero was born on May 23, 1930 in Vadito, New Mexico.

Mr. Romero served in the United States Army. He was a retired Uranium Miner having worked for United Nuclear, Nevada test site, Questa, New Mexico and Red Cliff, Colorado.

He is survived by his children; Theresa Martinez (Harold), Luciano Lee Romero Jr., Jaylene Rodriguez (Richard), Paul Romero (Cindy), Robert Romero (Lori), and Joyce Friedt (Arnie). 14 Grandchildren. And 16 Great-Grandchildren. Siblings; Laudes Romero Jr. (Polly), and Edumenia Pacheco.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years; Angelina Romero. His baby daughter; Patricia Romero. His parents; Laudes Romero Sr. and Eulalia Zamora Romero. His siblings; Marcelino Romero, Corcinio Romero, Bernardino Romero, Odelio Romero, Medardo Romero, Eli Romero, Elvira Maes, Elaisa Brown, Anita Romero, Melisandro Romero, Oralia Romero and Anita Romero II.

A committal service will be held on Thursday December 3, 2020 at 11:15 am at Santa Fe National Cemetery. The United States Army will provide the honor guard. A Memorial Service in Grants will be scheduled at a later date.

Cope Memorial Chapel of Gallup is entrusted with arrangements.
