Betty L Swearingen

Betty L. Swearingen, 79, of Bloomfield, New Mexico, passed away on August 19th, 2024 in Farmington, New Mexico at SJRMC. Betty was born on  November 4th, 1944 in Rock Springs, Wyoming. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Don A. Swearingen, parents, David and Ida Yarbrough, brothers, Lyndell, Don, Leon, and Nathan Yarbrough, and sister, Shirley Brown. 

Betty is survived by her son, Donny Swearingen (Noreen), daughter, Cindy Pittillo (Charles), grandchildren Jessica West (Bob), Dawn Garcia (Dusty), Ashley Pittillo, Jeremy Pittillo, and great-grandchildren, Darring, Vanessa, Jadzia, and Dominic.

Our hearts are heavy with loss, but we find comfort in knowing that Betty is now at peace, reunited with Don and all those who have gone before her. She will be deeply missed, but her love will live on in our hearts forever.

There will be a graveside service at Memory Gardens Cemetery on Friday, August 23rd at 11:00am. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
