Eliseo loved New Mexico. He cared about the state and it’s people. He dedicated his life to
serving others, from saving lives during the Vietnam War and serving with bravery and
distinction that earned him the Bronze Star, guiding people to the right path during his time as
a municipal and later magistrate judge. to representing thousands of his friends and neighbors
for 16 years at the Roundhouse where he worked to help the state succeed. He approached
his duties humbly and honorably. Eliseo could be counted on to give straightforward answers,
advice and opinions to every issue. He prided himself on being a voice for the people, and was
never afraid to take on a fight to protect their need
There is only one thing that Eliseo loved more than serving others-his family. He was a
dedicated family man who set the bar high for a dad. Everyone knows that his grandchildren
and great-grandson were his apples of his eye, watching them grow and reach for success at
every turn.
