Geoffrey Evan Yellowman, born on February 1, 1980, in Farmington, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2024, in his hometown. Geoffrey was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Geoffrey dedicated his career to carpentry and made significant contributions to the construction field demonstrating both skill and artistry in his work. He graduated from Bloomfield High School, Class of 1998, which laid the foundation for his promising endeavors. Geoffrey was known not only for his craftsmanship but also for his vibrant personality. He was kind and welcoming, always making others feel at ease, and his great sense of humor brought joy to many.
Those who knew Geoffrey will fondly remember his love for family time, relishing moments spent together. He was an avid basketball and baseball player and enjoyed movies, music, and video games, filling his life with passions that he often shared with his loved ones.
Geoffrey's legacy will live on through his parents, Raymond and Geneva Yellowman, and his siblings: Gregory and Starla Yellowman, Evan and Kristin Yellowman, Andrey Yellowman, Rachelle Yellowman, Kimberley Yellowman, and Rhianna Yellowman. He was a cherished uncle to his nephews Michael Gonzales, Raymond Gonzales, and Jakota Baker, and his nieces Kayla Joseph, Haily, Lyela Yellowman, and Brielle Oliver. His great-niece, Julia Ziegler, and great-nephew, Elias Ziegler, added further joy to his life.
Geoffrey is also reunited in spirit with those who have preceded him in death, including Frank and Pauline Eaton, and Louis Sr. and AnnaMae Yellowman.
A funeral service will be held in his honor at Bethel Baptist Church, located at 201 Heiland Road, Aztec, NM 87410, on September 28, 2024, starting at 12:00 PM and concluding at 1:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Geoffrey’s extraordinary life, sharing memories and paying tribute to a man who will be deeply missed.
