JoAnn Salway passed away on December 28, 2018 in Gallup, New Mexico. She was 85 years of age. JoAnn was born on July 13, 1933 in Crystal, New Mexico.
She was a long-time resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico working at the University of New Mexico Hospital as a dietitian before her return to the Gallup area.
She is survived by her sister Rose Ann Martinez and her husband Charlie. Numerous nephews, and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband Hermis Salway in 1979. Her parents, Tom Chee and Elsie Taylor Chee. Her siblings; Eunice Denetsone, Lucy Shirley, and Ruben Chee. And a niece; Peggy Martinez.
On Friday January 4, 2019 at Cope Memorial Chapel at 11:00 AM a funeral service will be celebrated.
Honorary Pallbearers will be all of her nephews and nieces.
Cope Memorial Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
