Johnny "Coop" Welch

Johnny "Coop" Welch, Jr passed on 12/26/2020 in Farmington, NM. He was born in Ector County, TX to Johnny Welch Sr and Julian Ann Tennette. He served his country in the United States Navy for four years and settled in Farmington where he spent 34 years with City of Farmington.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorraine Welch; his son, Julian Jared Welch; and his father, Johnny Welch Sr. He is survived by five sons, Jonathon, Jeremy, Josh, D.P., and Jusiah; his daughter, Julie; his mother, Julian Ann Tennette; and his three brothers, Marvin, Paul, Gabriel. He also has 10 beautiful grandchildren, Taylor, Jasmine, Jaiden, Jermaine, Johnny, Jordyn, Kenyan, Niesha, Tayanna, and Julyssa.

Coop enjoyed coaching, riding motorcycles and visits to the casino.

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
