Joe Hernandez Jr.

Jose “Joe” Luis Hernandez Jr. passed away on July 1, 2021 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was 36 years of age. He was born on June 15, 1985 in San Jose, California.

Mr. Hernandez worked at Weather King and Graceland Storage Buildings. He was a talented handyman, and roofer. He loved playing his guitar, working on cars and watching movies, but his favorite time was spent at home with his children. He was loved and will be missed.

He is survived by his children; Emiziqueo Hernandez, and Emiliano Hernandez. His parents; Lupe Garza, and Jose Hernandez Sr. His sister; Lola Aragon-Everhart and her husband Tom. His nieces and nephews; Tenesha Del Rio, Priscilla Del Rio, Jose J. Ramirez, Angelica Ramirez, Simon Aragon, and Tyler Everhart. His aunts and uncles; Bibi Ana Fuentes, Irene Fuentes, Joe Garza-Fuentes.

On Monday July 12, 2021 at San Rafael Catholic Church. A viewing will begin at 9:00 AM, then at 10:00 AM, a Mass will be celebrated by Father Alberto Avella. Burial will follow at San Rafael Community Cemetery.

Pallbearers include; Tom Everhart, Tyler Everhart, Luis Ybarra, Joe Fuentes, Jose “JJ” Ramirez, Willie Nanez.

Cope Memorial Chapel of Gallup is entrusted with arrangements.
