Joseph (Joe) Allen Ross, 37, of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 29, 2022, he was born to Carol and Joe Ross on April 28th, 1984, in Grants, New Mexico. He was a 2002 Grants High School graduate and was passionate about sports, basketball, and baseball. Joe was well-known in the community for his skills as a basketball player. After graduating high school, he attended CNM. Joe has been in Albuquerque ever since. This loss was completely unexpected leaving family and friends shocked and deeply saddened. He will be truly missed in so many ways.

He is survived by his daughters, Avery, and AudreyRae Ross; Mother, Carol (Billy) Ross; Father, Joe Ross; Grandmother, Sista Martinez; Grandfather, Eddie Ross; Brothers, Manuel, and Matthew Ross; Aunts, Cindy (Randy) Varela, Veronica (Michael) Garcia, Trinnie (Dorphy) Blea, Diane Ross; Uncles, Allen (Crystal) Martinez, Anthony Pacheco; Nephew, Bentley Ross; as well as many cousins, and friends. Joe’s life was far too short, and those of us who were Blessed to be touched by him, will miss his smile, laugh, love, joy, and his kind spirit more than words can express. We take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace in the Lords loving arms, surrounded by his sister, Audrey Marie Ross; his aunt, Christine (Tine) Pacheco; his maternal grandfather, Silveano Martinez; his paternal grandmother, Cora Ross; his uncle, Eddie Ross, Jr; cousins, Michael Martinez, Mia Blea; and numerous other family that he loved dearly and proceeded him in death.

Joe was raised by his mother Carol, spending time, playing sports, in Grants with his, brothers Manuel and Matthew and sister Audrey. Joe was a loving and dedicated father to his two beautiful daughters, Avery (2) and AudreyRae (1 month). They were the center beam of his life. God decided that he needed Joe and therefore he passed away without warning. Joe had planned to propose and marry his best friend and girlfriend, Amber Sanchez.

“You never said I’m leaving, you never said goodbye. You were gone before we knew it, and only God knew why. A million times we needed you, a million times we cried. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place that no one could ever fill. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God took you home.” Author Unknown.
