Rebecca Lynn Stratton, aged 66, of Gallup, New Mexico, peacefully left this world to be forever with her Heavenly Father on September 13, 2024. Born on February 10, 1958, Becky dedicated her life to caring for others, both through her career and in her personal life. Becky earned her LPN Nursing Degree from Indian River Community College and spent many years first as a Licensed Practical Nurse and later as a Home Health Aide. Her professional life was marked by compassion and dedication. She considered her work a ministry, often sharing faith and hope with those she served. Her love and care endeared her to her patients and colleagues alike. A woman of faith, Becky was actively involved in several churches throughout her life, including Wesley Chapel in Jupiter, Florida, Bremen Holiness Church in Bremen, Ohio, and Free Trinity Navajo Mission in Gallup, New Mexico. Her commitment to her faith and community was evident in the countless hours she spent volunteering and participating in church activities. Becky was known for her caring, fun-loving, and spunky, albeit stubborn personality. She found joy in simple pleasures like playing board games, card games, and solving crossword puzzles, activities that often brought her family and friends together in laughter and competition. She also loved to play with her grandchildren and was always available to talk when needed. She leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory, including her beloved husband of 43 years, Douglas Stratton; her sons, Andrew (Julie) Stratton, Samuel (Rebecca) Stratton, and John (Jennifer) Stratton; her daughter, Elizabeth (Jonathan) Stottsberry; her brothers, James McNab, Mark (Pat) McNab, and Dave (Debbie) McNab; her grandchildren, Cayla (Tanner) Bradshaw, Jordan Smith, Devin Stratton, Hannah Stratton, Adelyn Stratton, Matthew Stratton, Julissa Stratton, Asher Stratton, David Stratton, Aleena Stratton, Joyanna Stratton, and Janaya Stratton, who is expected soon ; and her great-grandchildren, Liliauna Searles, and Aiylah Bradshaw. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Betty Webb McNab; her brother, John Paul McNab; and her in-laws, Harry and Doris Stratton. A funeral service will be held at Free Trinity Navajo Mission in Gallup, New Mexico, on Friday, September 20th, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Burial will be on the grounds at Free Trinity Navajo Mission.
