Kyle Mathew Yocum, son, brother, and uncle, was called home by the Lord Sunday April 23, 2023 in Aztec, NM. He was born on February 22, 1991 in Farmington, NM to Robert and Marie Yocum. Kyle was the second born of three children. Kyle was an outstanding ironworker, and had a passion for working Iron alongside his family. Kyle loved reading, music, drawing, skateboarding, and playing video games. His style, sense of humor and way of life impacted everyone he was around. Kyle was a selfless, caring, and great human being. The world has sustained a great loss.

Kyle is survived by grandparents Elizardo (Pompo) and Gloria (Grandma Goie) Fernandez, Sue (Granny) Yocum, parents Robert and Marie Yocum, older brother Cody R. Yocum (Autumn Yocum), younger sister Eryn Yocum (Trevor Walker), nieces Hailey E. Yocum, Haley Beth Yocum, Henley E. Yocum, nephew Hadley E. Yocum, and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.

He was proceeded in death by grandparents Donald (Pappy) Yocum Sr., Don and Helen Shelton, Daniel Martinez, and cousin Jamie Wallace.

*Viewing will be at 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Wednesday May 3, 2023 at Cope Memorial Chapel located at 404 West Arrington Street Farmington, NM 87401.

Celebration of Life

*Service will be at 2:00pm on Saturday May 6, 2023 at Timberline Church located at 311 Ruins Road Aztec, NM 87410 with Pastor Ron Oster presiding.

*Interment will follow in Memory Gardens located at 6917 East Main Street Farmington, NM 87402 with pallbearers Cody R. Yocum, Don Yocum Jr., Jared Martinez, Justin Williams, Donald P. Yocum III, and Andrew Abernathy.  Honorary Pallbearers are Hadley (Buddy) Yocum, Casie Buffington, Timi Matlock, Hailey Yocum, Eryn Yocum, Trevor Walker, Hannah Yocum, and Silas Yocum.
