Roberto E. Ulibarri, age 79, passed away on Friday May 27, 2022 at home with his daughters by his side. Roberto was born in La Puente, New Mexico on December 15, 1942 to Mary C. Martinez. Roberto brought his family from Denver, CO to his childhood home to allow his family to grow up in the old ways of farming. He was a hard-working person who was always willing to help his family and friends. He loved to have a beautiful lawn, lilac bushes, and fruit trees. He was able to live out his life long dream of working for the New Mexico State Highway and Transportation Department. He was proud to be an equipment operator and loved working “snow removal”.
Roberto was preceded in death by his wife Consuelo “Connie” Ulibarri who passed recently on September 10, 2021. We know they are together again with their Heavenly Father along with their late daughter Margaret Mossburg. He is also welcomed into heaven by his parents Mary C. Martinez and Felipe & Rufina Maez; siblings Gilbert Martinez, Raymundo Maez, Gloria Lopez, and Maria Ballon; grandparents “Mama” Sidelia S. Ulibarri and Pedro Ulibarri.
Roberto is survived by daughters Peggy Ulibarri-Munoz, Marie Ann Ulibarri, Roberta (Steve) Calton, and Sophie Ulibarri; son-in-law Kenneth Mossburg; siblings Pedro Ulibarri, Tony (Della) Martinez, Pedro Maez, Elardio (Della) Maez, Chester (Starla) Maez, and Regina Maez; Grandchildren Michelle (Arron) Halstead, Justin Ulibarri, Jazzmine & Victoria Calton, Monica Mossburg & Vanessa Mossburg, Luke Null and Great-grandchildren Bryson Roth, and Grayson Mossburg.
