BECAUSE THE LORD Is My Shepard, I have Everything I Need!
Sophia left this earth to join her Lord and Savior on November, 16th. There to greet her in her Heavenly Home is her parents, husband, all of her siblings, and many other relatives and friends. They're all rejoicing now.
Surviving Sophia are her children: Lillian Bishop, Samuel Sansoni (Karen), Ronald Sansoni (Melissa), Willis Edward Luckey Jr., Patricia McClain (Danny), Marty Luckey, Tony Luckey, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Great-Grandchildren.
Sophia Maria Martinez was born in Carrizo, NM on September 12, 1924, but she spent most of her life in Cedar Hill and Aztec. She spent several of her early adult years in California where she met her first husband Sam Sansoni. Her second husband was Willis Edward Luckey from Texas. They moved to Aztec. They lived there together until his death in 1974.
Sophia's wish was to be cremated with no services. Her children will honor her requests. Her ashes will be buried at a later time.
A Mother holds her children's hands for a while...and their hearts forever.
